Grove Code

Status: Final / released

Associated Song: Grove Code

Notes: “Grove Code” is a homage to the normal people who live, work, love, and survive in places the outside world often reduces to stereotypes. It’s about Pleasant Grove not as a headline or a warning label, but as a real place full of people carrying pressure with dignity. The song honors the quiet code of minding your business, protecting your own, and grinding through circumstances most people judge before they understand.

[Verse 1]
I was raised where Buckner hum like a heartbeat,
Where the sun go down and the block get discreet.
Lake June glow in my rearview mirrors,
Learned to move real quiet when the air get weird.
Had to flip my posture just to stand up tall,
Flip a bad hand quick when the rent too small.
Turn one to two, let it stretch, let it breathe,
Never said what I did, but the city believe.
Bruton nights, Elam lessons in the dark,
How to read that tension by the way they park.
 I keep my lines pressed,
Never too loud, never too stressed…
But I’m ten toes down when it’s time to protect.

[Pre-Chorus]
And I know you feel it when I glide through,
Prairie Creek air with the Trinity moon.
I don’t talk too much, I let the silence show,
If you know, then you know, that’s Grove code.

[Chorus]
Where I’m from, it’s the South side, baby,
Pleasant Grove made me. can’t replace me.
City get cold, but my heart stay ready,
Late night love with a South Dallas melody.
Oh, I been through storms in these same streets,
Still I shine when the hood try to shade me.
 South side, baby…
 Yeah, The Grove raised me.

[Verse 2]
I got scars I don’t post, I just wear ‘em,
Hard to sleep when your past right there starin’.
Samuell / Skyline days, I was half in,
Street taught calculus; I was subtractin’.
I been cookin’ up plans that don’t come with a smell,
Cook a move, cook a verse, cook a way through the hell.
I can whip a whole life out a ounce of belief,
Whip my flow, whip my ride, whip grief into peace.
Slide down Lake June like a rumor at night,
Never said where I been, but I been in that light.
Rivals in my mirror tryna follow my lane,
 I just change my route
Let ‘em blame what they blame.

[Pre-Chorus]
And I know you feel it when I glide through,
East Dallas air with the late-night truth.
I don’t talk too much, I let the silence show,
If you know, then you know, that’s Grove code.

[Chorus]

[Bridge]
don’t ask me what it cost me,
Just know I paid it in full.
Don’t ask me where I learned that walk
I was born with the rules.
 Buckner to the back roads,
 Bruton to the avenues,
 If the night get heavy,
I know how to make it through.

[Final Chorus / Outro]
Where I’m from, it’s the South side, baby,
Pleasant Grove made me. Can’t replace me.
City get cold, but my heart stay ready,
Late night love with a South Dallas melody.
 South side, baby…
 Yeah, The Grove raised me.

How I Move

Status: Final / released

Associated Song: How I Move

Notes: “How I Move” reflects the mindset built by pressure, instability, and survival. It’s about learning balance in uncertain conditions, moving with intention, and transforming hardship into direction.. from Section 8 to the sky.

[Verse 1]
I had to make a move
 Chessboard on the floor
House always leanin’, rain comin’ through the door
Learned to read time by the cracks in the wall
Shoes talkin’ loud, soles thin, still I stood tall

[Pre-Chorus]
I think I got a gift
Learned to count breath before I learned to wish
Pressure made diamonds, but it cut my wrist
I’m in my bag, for real
Now you know what it is

[Chorus]
I had to make a move
Shifted my weight when the floorboards moved
I had to make a move
Read between lines they never drew
I had to make a move
Now you know how I move (you see it)

[Verse 2]
Put the time in, hands still smell like rust
Did some favors for the future, paid in trust
Rent due sound like thunder in my chest
Lights flicker, learned to pray without a yes

[Pre-Chorus]
I think I got a gift
Turned dead ends into exits I exist
Every scar just a paragraph I lived
I’m in my bag, for real
Now you know what it is

[Chorus / Outro]
I had to make a move
Learned balance from a wire with no view
I had to make a move
Kept my name clean while I paid my dues
I had to make a move
Now you know how I move (section 8 to the sky)

On the Come Up

Status: Released

Associated Song: On the Come Up

Notes: “On the Come Up” reflects the long road from being overlooked and underestimated to finally stepping into a life built through patience, pressure, and persistence. It’s about growth, survival, and the quiet satisfaction of becoming more than people expected.

[Verse]
Back then they didn’t want me
Now they all up on me, yeah
My life a movie
Went from Section 8 to counting blue hundreds
Used to dream about a Rollie, now it’s AP
Patek on me, yeah the timepiece wavy
They ain’t see the nights I had to stay patient
Now I’m in position, everything changin’

[Pre-chorus]
Let’s make this clear
You can see it in my eyes
It’s been one hell of a ride
Just give it time… just give it time
The world is mine… the world is mine

Got the weight of the world on my back
Never fumbled, I ain’t never slack
God told me, “Son, you gon’ make it, relax”
I’m just tryna put the whole team on the map
That’s why I been on the come up
Been on the come up

[Chorus]
I be stuntin’ in my ride on the come up
keep the 9 on my side on the come up
See me movin’ with that vibe on the come up
Turnin’ 4s into 5s, now the price up on the come up

[Verse 2]
Now when I pull up, they watch how I move
I got the proof, I got nothin’ to prove
They used to doubt, now they callin’ it truth
I took the pain and I turned it to fuel
Came from the mud, now I’m clean when I step
Still got that hunger, I don’t ever rest
If I said I’m comin’, you know I’m next
On the come up, I ain’t peaked yet

[Chorus]
I be stuntin’ in my ride on the come up
got the 9 on my side on the come up
See me movin’ with that vibe on the come up
Turnin’ 4s into 5s, now the price up on the come up

Tee'd up

Status: Draft

Associated Song: Tee'd up

Notes: “Tee’d Up” was inspired by that pressure you feel when the room gets tense and you have to keep your face straight. I wanted it to feel cold, coded, and controlled.. not loud, not reckless, just locked in. It’s still a draft, with ad-libs and extra vocal layers still being worked out.

[Rap pt 1]
Mask on, ion talk, slide Polk with the beam tucked
Ain’t no woofin’ on the net, that cuento get a scene cut
Vatos whisper ghost back, I don’t stunt, I just tax
One flex outta place, Trinity bend where they collapse

I don’t chase opp smoke, I let karma spin the rim
Southside chrome sing cold, teach a lesson when it hymn
Seen boys fold for a name, I move last, never rushed
Ain’t no war I start, I go quiet… then it’s hushed

[Chorus/ Hook]

Candy paint drip, lookin’ sweeter than a re-up,
Whole hood watch, I’m the tax they can’t beat up.
Pyrex dreams, made the snow heat up,
Now I pour for my dawgs, every loss teed up.
(2x)

[Rap pt 2]

I ain’t postin’, I’m coastin’, lil vato keep the beam low
He was talkin’ bout a body, now his name don’t ring though
Southside chatter turn to hymns when the heat hum
Ion play, I wait, then the silence get numb

Chrome talk slick, lane switch on Lancaster
Told ’em stay in they lane fo’ I flip it a disaster
Ghost never sleep, I just lurk where the talk was
Mask tight, fade clean. no trace, just dust

[Final Chorus/ Hook]

Candy paint drip, lookin’ sweeter than a re-up,
Whole hood watch, I’m the tax they can’t beat up.
Pyrex dreams, made the snow heat up,
Now I pour for my dawgs, every loss teed up.
(2x)

Hypnotized

Status: Under review

Associated Song: Hypnotized

Notes: “Hypnotized” was inspired by a late-night car moment with someone whose energy completely took over the room... or the lack of room. I wanted the song to feel sensual, dark, and locked-in, like that blurry space where attraction, rhythm, and impulse all blend together. Still under review while I refine the vocals, layers, and final mix.

[Intro]

Your rhythm pull me under like the tide slow motion
Backseat tint, deep strokes in motion
Lip gloss dripping while your silhouette glowing
And the way you wind that body got a real one focused

[Verse 1]

Body roll slow like you casting spells
Soft skin shining like a wish through hell
Your waist keep curving like the road downtown
Every time you throw it back, girl, the bass beat drown

Slow grind pressure got the whole room tense
Perfume thick mixed with sweat on your neck
Your hips keep talking in a language I feel
And the way you move on me don’t even seem real

[Pre-Chorus]

Slide closer, don’t stop now
Your body got me locked down
Every little move start shaking my control
Like we both know exactly where this go

[Chorus / Drop]

I’m hypnotized by you
 Every little move you do
Girl, your vibe’s a slow, sweet moon
Got me lost in your groove, your groove

[Verse 2]

Moonlight shaking off your thighs so slow
Nails digging deep while the sub bass roll
Shawty ride rhythm like a wave on codeine
Whole body talking while you breathing on me

Neon sweat dripping down your back like rain
Every little motion driving me insane
You move like temptation wrapped in velvet smoke
And I keep sinking every time you get close

[Chorus / Drop]
I’m hypnotized by you
 Every little move you do
Girl, your vibe’s a slow, sweet moon
Got me lost in your groove, your groove

[Bridge / Outro]
Slow grind, hands pressed against my chest
Heavy breathing while your lips on my neck
City lights blur while the windows fog
And your rhythm got me drowning in the dark

I’m hypnotized by you…
 Lost in your groove…
 Hypnotized by you…
 Lost in your groove…

Unravelin'

Status: Draft

Associated Song: Unravelin'

Notes: “Unravelin’” is about the emotional game that starts when vulnerability keeps getting punished. It came from wanting a real connection, but feeling someone pull away every time I got too open. The song lives in that tension.. wanting to let go, staying guarded, and learning to keep control even when part of you wants to fall apart.

[Verse 1]
Waitin’ on the tide
Driftin’ past the signs
Lookin’ for a light
No one there
Ooh
Caught between the lines
Fadin’ every time

[Pre-Chorus]
The more that I show you
The less I feel whole
The closer I get to you
The more you let go

[Chorus]
Baby
Come feel me
I’m unravelin’
Open
You love me when I’m in control
Baby
Come near me
I’m unravelin’
Open
You love me when I don’t get close

[Verse 2]
Waitin’ on the tide
Heart out in the deep
Reachin’ for your side
You don’t stay
Ooh
Every time I dive
You just slip away

[Pre-Chorus]
The more that I show you
The less I feel whole
The more that I need you
The more you let go

[Chorus]
Baby
Come feel me
I’m unravelin’
Open
You love me when I’m in control
Baby
Come near me
I’m unravelin’
Open
You love me when I don’t get close

Know What it Do

Status: Under review

Associated Song: Know What it Do

Notes: “Know What it Do” was inspired by women with that natural confidence.. the ones who know they’re bad, know what they want, and don’t need permission to own the room. It’s a fun, direct track built around attitude, chemistry, and that feeling when somebody’s presence says everything before they even do too much.

[Intro]

She know what it do (x4)

[Verse]

Bad lil’ vibe
Lil’ attitude
That’s a fact
She don’t gotta prove
No cap
Yeah
She slid in with her crew
Bring it back
Let me see what it do
She say she ain’t scared, she gon’ risk it
Still young
Yeah, she with it
I ain’t gotta ask
I already knew
She know what it is
She know what it do

[Chorus]

She know what it do (x7)

[Verse 2]
Yeah
 She with her people
 All live
 Say she want it now
 Not “one time”
 I’ma run it up
 Like I called it
 Yeah, I run it up
 Like I called it
Bad lil’ vibe
 Lil’ attitude
 That’s a fact
 She don’t gotta prove
 No cap
 Yeah
She slid in with her crew
 Bring it back
Let me see what it do

[Chorus]
(Ooh-yeah!)
She know what it do (x7)

Showtime

Status: Draft

Associated Song: Showtime

Notes: “Showtime” was inspired by a real moment where the rhythm, confidence, and chemistry all lined up perfectly. It’s a club-style track about somebody taking control of the beat and making the whole room feel like a stage. The song is mostly there, but I’m still reworking the chorus until the hook hits with the right energy.

[Chorus]
Shawty buss it down like it’s showtime
Throw that ass back, yeah, it’s go time
Hips switch smooth like an eight-speed
Switch one gear, now she ridin’ on beat

Shawty buss it down like it’s showtime
Throw that ass back, yeah, it’s go time
Body got bounce, make the bassline lean
Switch one gear, now she ridin’ on beat

[Verse]
Shawty ride the beat with a slow grind
Low lights on, got the whole vibe
She don’t say much, but she know mine
Throw it back once, make it rewind

Hips on ten when the bass hit
Whole room watch when she shake it
She don’t miss, she don’t fake it
Drop down low, then she take it

Southside baby with a smooth talk
Bad lil’ frame and a mean walk
She in that pocket when the beat knock
One more move, make the room stop

She said, “What it feel like?”
I said, “Don’t ask”
Hands on knees, make the floor tap
Too deep now, no brakes, no sleep
Switch one gear, now she ridin’ on beat

[Chorus]
Shawty buss it down like it’s showtime
Throw that ass back, yeah, it’s go time
Hips switch smooth like an eight-speed
Switch one gear, now she ridin’ on beat

Shawty buss it down like it’s showtime
Throw that ass back, yeah, it’s go time
Body got bounce, make the bassline lean
Switch one gear, now she ridin’ on beat

[Bridge / Chant]
Switch one gear, now she ridin’ on beat
Switch one gear, now she ridin’ on beat
Ayy, ayy, she ridin’ on beat
Switch one gear, now she ridin’ on beat

[Final Chorus / Outro]
Shawty buss it down like it’s showtime
Throw that ass back, yeah, it’s go time
Hips switch smooth like an eight-speed
Switch one gear, now she ridin’ on beat

Body got bounce, make the bassline lean
Switch one gear, now she ridin’ on beat

Now she ridin’ on beat

Lyrics Without Music
I Can't Quit You

Status: Lyric idea only

Associated Song: None yet

Notes: “I Can’t Quit You” is about toxic chemistry and the bad habit of wanting the people who keep you stuck. It came from that push-pull dynamic where there are no labels, too many mixed signals, and every “I’m done” turns into one more late-night text. No hate. Just self-awareness, temptation, and knowing better while still doing it anyway.

[Verse 1]
Oh my god,
I didn’t think I’d get this stuck,
Yeah you’re all I want,
Bih’ you drive me nuts.
You’re sticky like a spiderweb,
yeah, all tangled up,
I was tryna cut the thread
but I keep getting pulled right back.

Late night “you up?”
then you vanish in the sun,
Say you don’t want labels
but you want me when you’re bored,
I’m the call you never save
but I’m the one you can’t ignore,
I swear I’m done with you
then you’re at my door.

[Pre-Chorus]
Say it’s nothing,
but it’s always something,
You hit my line and my mind goes dumb,
I fold like laundry
every time you press that button.

[Chorus]
I can’t quit you (quit you)
You’re my cigarette (cigarette)
I’m the sugar to your (sweet tooth)
You want every breath
No one else knows you like me
knows you like me
knows you like me
knows you like me

I can’t quit you (quit you)
You’re my cigarette (cigarette)
I’m the sugar to your sweet tooth (sweet tooth)
I want every breath
No one else knows you like me
knows you like me
knows you like me
knows you like me

[Verse 2]
Got me like.. “oh my god,”
Why you only sweet when I’m about to walk?
You keep me in the gray
like you’re scared of what we are,
Say “let’s keep it chill,”
but you’re the loudest in my heart.

We aren’t “together,”
but you act like I’m yours,
You don’t say you miss me
but you hate when I move on,
I post one pic without you
now you suddenly respond,
You don’t want commitment
you just want me on call.

[Pre-Chorus]
I should leave,
yeah I know I should leave,
But you taste like trouble
and I’m fiending for the repeat.

[Chorus]
I can’t quit you (quit you)
You’re my cigarette (cigarette)
I’m the sugar to your sweet tooth (sweet tooth)
You want every breath
No one else knows you like me
knows you like me
knows you like me
knows you like me

[Bridge]
Tell me “we’re just vibing,”
yeah, you say that with a grin,
But you get jealous
when somebody else gets in.
I don’t even want “forever,”
I just want you to admit
You like the way I need you
and you hate the way you do too.

[Chorus / Outro]
I can’t quit you (quit you)
You’re my cigarette (cigarette)
I’m the sugar to your sweet tooth (sweet tooth)
I want every breath
No one else knows you like me
knows you like me
knows you like me
knows you like me

I can’t quit you…

She Ain't New to This

Status: Lyric idea only

Associated Song: None yet

Notes: “She Ain’t New to This” is a raw Dallas-style chant about a woman who knows exactly what she’s doing and owns every bit of it. It’s loud, nasty, playful, and built around that bad-bitch energy.. The kind of confidence that walks in already in control. Definitely one of the more explicit lyric ideas, but the whole point is attitude, rhythm, and not pretending the song is cleaner than it is.

[Intro]
She from the cliff? Nah, she from the east
Either way.. she don’t run, she feast
Let’s get it

[Verse 1]
That grin? Whole trap look twice
Ass so fat, had to slap it twice
She don’t need her girls, she ride dolo
Bounce on three, then gobble three mo’ tho

[Chorus – Dallas chant cadence]
Me, you. we all finna crash
Big booty jiggle when she throwin’ that ass
Slap that cat, grip them cheeks
She ride for the hood like she grew up in Keast
Me, you. we all get licks
She don’t fold, she take all six
Pop that thang, spit then twist
South Dallas queen on that triple X list

[Verse 2 – Even grittier, drawl it out]
She from that south, she built for pressure
One deep, she still applyin’ that stretcha
Twist, slurp, grip, then ride
Look me dead in the face, said “Boy, you next? Slide.”
(she a dog wit’ it, she a fool wit’ it)
(mouth full, still talkin’ smooth wit’ it)

[Chorus]
Me, you. we all finna crash
Big booty jiggle when she throwin’ that ass
Slap that cat, grip them cheeks
She ride for the hood like she grew up in Keast

[Outro]
One hoe, six plays, she gon’ eat
No cap, she ain’t miss a beat
Gutter queen, head game elite
Say it loud: she from down the street

Press Decline

Status: Lyric idea only

Associated Song: None yet

Notes: “Press Decline” came from a very real chapter of my life. Me and my girl surviving Section 8, addiction, chaos, and years of not having much to lean on except each other. It’s about finally catching the break that changed everything, going from barely holding on to stepping into real financial freedom, and watching people who once doubted or dismissed me try to rewrite their role in the story. This one is personal: survival, loyalty, resentment, growth, and learning that not everybody gets to come with you.

[Intro]
 Yeah…
We were two candles in a hallway of smoke,
No map, just the moon and a promise we spoke.
Doors slammed loud, we stayed quiet in the glow…

[Hook]
Took storms in the dark, now the windshield shines,
We were breath on the glass, now the skyline’s mine.
They ain’t hear my heart when it rattled in the cold,
 Now they ringin’ my phone
 baby I press decline.

Ice in my chest but the suit look clean,
Built a throne from the scraps of a broke-down dream.
Now the dash light flickers like a chapel scene,
 I’m up all night
used to dine with the fiends.

[Verse 1]
We was rent-due echoes in a paper-thin room,
Ceilin’ talkin’ in tongues, walls sweatin’ perfume.
Her bloodline empty like a worn-out well,
Mine shut the gate when I slipped through hell.

I was a ghost in a mirror with a cracked-out grin,
She was sunrise tryin’ to pull me back in.
We ate hope off a plate that was barely there,
Two sparrows in the winter learnin’ not to scare.

Now the same cold hands that let me fall
Wanna warm by the fire when they see it tall.

[Pre-Hook]
Hard nights, thin air, no shelter…
Two hearts, one coat, no weather…
 Prayed for peace, got pressure…
Now I move like a storm in velvet…

[Bridge]
You ain’t see the drought when I learned to drink rain,
When my name was a weight and my skin held the shame.
She stayed when the night tried to swallow my face
So don’t knock on my door like you built this place.

[Final Hook / Outro]
Took storms in the dark, now the windshield shines…
We were breath on the glass, now the skyline’s mine…
 Now you ringin’ my phone
 baby I press decline…

Forgive Me

Status: Lyric idea only

Associated Song: None yet

Notes: “Forgive Me” started as a fun post-hardcore/metal-inspired idea for me and my girl to jam to. We improvised the chorus, forgot the melody, and now neither of us agrees on how it was supposed to go. The lyrics are dark, but the song itself is more chaotic fun than serious misery. Currently in limbo until we settle the melody dispute.

[Verse 1]
I wanna know what you’re thinking ’bout
 when you’re alone,
when the walls hum low and you’re skin-to-bone.
Do you see the world as cruel, or just
 cold by design?
Is there something you can do
 to cut that vine
 that feeds the hate
 that festers in your soul?

[Chorus]
Do you wanna know what I’m thinking ’bout
 when I’m alone,
when I turn to stone in a house called “home”?
Yeah, I see the world as cruel, but I’m
 cruel sometimes.
Is there something I can do
 to unwind
 all that hate
 that festers in my soul?

[Bridge]
 What will you do
 when you are called?
 Will you sit back
 and watch us fall?
 Are you afraid
 to make the change?
 Or do you love
 things this way?

[Verse 2]
I wanna know what you’re thinking ’bout
 when you’re alone,
when the mask comes off and you’re overgrown.
Do you see the world as cruel, or is that
 your old excuse?
Is there something you can do
 to cut it loose
 all that hate
 that festers in your soul?

Bump it

Status: Lyric idea only

Associated Song: None yet

Notes: “Bump It” is about quiet motion, bigger numbers, and the kind of come-up people can feel but can’t fully explain. I wanted the track to sound cold, calculated, and half-hidden. Like the room knows something changed, but nobody gets the full story. “Same winter, different chapter” says enough: same instincts, different season, bigger pressure.

[Intro]
Yeah (low)
Lights low, stove glow
White noise through the rafters
Same winter… different chapter

[Chorus]
And I’m flippin’ numbers
I got bigger numbers
You don’t want that pressure
I might hit the lotto

And I’m stackin’ layers
I got quiet layers
You don’t want that weather
I might hit the lotto

And I’m movin’ winters
I got colder winters
You don’t want no problems
I might hit the lotto

[Verse 1]
Lights low, stove glow, no cameras
White noise hum through the rafters
Shoe in Tijuana, shift the balance
Small flake turn avalanche status

Level, low,loud, just silent math
Cut clean lines, that’s careful craft
Snow fall light but it build fast
One spark make the whole thing flash

Hands steady, I don’t rush weight
Cold front shift when I touch plates
If it bubble, I don’t celebrate
I just double back and circulate

[Chorus]
And I’m flippin’ numbers
I got bigger numbers
You don’t want that pressure
I might hit the lotto

And I’m stackin’ layers
I got quiet layers
You don’t want that weather
I might hit the lotto

And I’m movin’ winters
I got colder winters
You don’t want no problems
I might hit the lotto

[Verse 2]
New address, same cold air
Snow fall heavy everywhere
Scale don’t lie, it’s self-aware
Weight shift once, that’s millionaire

No flex posts, no captions
Whole move quiet, all traction
Brick by brick, compaction
Pressure turn dust to fractions

Low voice talk, that’s discipline
White noise hum, I blend it in
If it triple, I don’t grin
Just let the winter settle in

[Bridge]
Don’t ask what it weigh, just feel it
Room get tense when I enter
Same stove, different ceiling
Cold hands built this center

No rush, I let it sizzle
If you know, no riddle
One spark made it triple
Now the whole block brittle

[Final Chorus / Outro]
And I’m flippin’ numbers
I got bigger numbers
You don’t want that pressure
Now it look like lotto

And I’m stackin’ layers
I got taller layers
You don’t want that weather
Now it feel like lotto

And I’m movin’ winters
I got endless winters
You don’t want no problems
Snowboy hit the lotto

Same winter…
Different chapter.

Hollyweird

Status: Lyric idea only

Associated Song: None yet

Notes: “Hollyweird” came from looking back at a connection that felt like love while I was inside it, but started looking fake once I got distance from it. It’s about being addicted to someone’s body, energy, and illusion, then realizing the whole thing was beautiful in a hollow kind of way.

[Intro]
 Last year
I was caught up in the worst of you
Drunk on the shape of you
 I disappeared in you

[Verse 1]
I’m falling down a dark, soft place
 I hate the feeling
 But I crave it
Your arms are the most dangerous thing
 I let them be

[Chorus]
I’m looking back at last year
 Thought it was love
 But you were only Hollyweird

I’m looking back at last year
 Thought it was love
 But you were only Hollyweird

[Verse 2]
 So sweet
 Like something I shouldn’t touch
I taste it on your lips
 It’s never enough

Last year
I was strung out on your skin
 I thought you were mine
 I let you in

[Chorus]
I’m looking back at last year
 Thought it was love
 But you were only Hollyweird

I’m looking back at last year
 Thought it was love
 But you were only Hollyweird

[Outro]
 Only Hollyweird
 Only Hollyweird

Associated Song: Locked Groove

Notes: “Locked Groove” is about being trapped in a loop with someone who feels impossible to quit. It came from that kind of chemistry where the pattern never really changes, but the pull is so strong that every repeat still feels new. The song lives in that space between desire and self-awareness. Like knowing the record is worn down, but still letting it spin. The melody is drafted, but I’m still reshaping it to fit my baritone range.

[INTRO]
Still spinnin’… still spinnin’…
You pull me in again… again…

[VERSE 1]
Your silhouette’s a rhythm that I never learned to fight,
You pull me through the shadows just to drown me in your light.
Every touch you leave behind is like a memory I taste,
And I keep chasin' every echo just to feel you in the space.

PRE-CHORUS
You move through me slow,
 Like you already know
 I’ll fall where you lead,
Yeah, I’m caught in the need.
Tell me why it feels right
 When it’s stealing my nights…

[HOOK]
Needle on your skin, I fall right through,
Replayin' every move you make like it’s brand new.
We don’t change, but the feelin’ hits so smooth,
Keep me spinnin’, caught inside your locked groove.

[VERSE 2]
We slip into the cycle like a secret that we share,
Your poison tastes like heaven when you whisper in my ear.
I know the record’s wearing down, the scratches show the truth,
But baby, when it catches, I get lost inside your proof.

[PRE-CHORUS]
Every time I bail,
 I keep followin’ your trail.
 I should run, I know,
 But you pull like control.
Tell me why it feels right
 When it ruins my nights…

[HOOK]
Needle on your skin, I fall right through,
Replayin' every move you make like it’s brand new.
We don’t change, but the feelin’ hits so smooth,
Keep me spinnin’, caught inside your locked groove.

[BRIDGE]
Maybe we’re a cycle I was never meant to break,
Maybe every high I get is worth the cracks we make.
I could pull away, but I don’t want the truth…
Silence never loved me like your locked groove.

[FINAL HOOK]
Needle on your skin, I fall right through,
Replayin’ every move you make like it’s brand new.
We don’t change, but the feelin’ hits so smooth,
Keep me spinnin’, caught inside your locked groove.
Locked groove… locked groove… locked groove…
